I’m not rich

I wasn’t born rich
nor am I rich now.
I think there are many ways to get rich.
Climbing ladders, gambling, trading stocks.
But I won’t get rich,
not with that.
I wasn’t born rich,
nor am I rich now.
And there are many ways to get rich.
But I think
I’ll stick to what I want to do,
and maybe one day I will be rich
maybe one day I won’t.
But at least,
I hope that the stomachs of my family,
and the heart of ours,
will stay rich,
richer than the creamy tonkutsu ramen I had in Japan.
